Suzann Stahl, Founder & President

Suzann Stahl is NonProfit Solutions NW’s founder & President. NonProfit Solutions was born out of her desire to help the nonprofit business sector continue to grow and thrive. Her experiences as a staff person, Board member and President, and now consultant give her a unique perspective into the management challenges of nonprofit organizations and how to creatively find solutions.

Suzann brings a broad-based depth of knowledge to NonProfit Solutions that she attained through her 20 years of professional experience working with large and small corporations and 15 years in the nonprofit business sector. Nonprofit projects included those in secondary and higher education, the arts, social service and faith-based organizations.

Suzann is known and respected in the community for her work on special projects such as the $10.5 million “New Library Campaign” at Saint Martin’s University and the $2.5 million “Shelter from the Storm” Campaign for Community Youth Services. But she is also known for her involvement in the community as a volunteer. Among the many volunteer projects she has led in the last decade, Suzann founded Legacy 98, a community-wide celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Women’s Rights Movement, founded & chaired the Books on the Bus project for the Woman’s Club of Olympia, and in 2000, co-founded South Sound Partners for Philanthropy. She was its President for 2 years. Suzann was nominated in 2003 for the Business Examiner’s “Women of Influence” recognition.

Suzann believes that tourism brings good business, which in turn contributes to the success of our community’s nonprofit organizations. She is currently the President of the Olympia Lacey Tumwater Visitor & Convention Bureau. In March, 2007, Suzann represented the VCB on the Business-to-Business Delegation trip to China. Suzann has been an active member of the Downtown Olympia Rotary Club since 1999 and served on its Board of Directors from 2004-2006.
